Meet The RHS Principal
Kristin Williams Smalley
Ms. Kristin Williams-Smalley has been officially designated as principal of Roxborough High School.
Ms. Williams-Smalley brings with her an awareness of and strong dedication to the mission of the Roxborough High School community. She is a passionate leader with a commitment to caring, collaborating, and working closely with staff and families to improve outcomes for students. Additionally, she has expressed a desire to strengthen bridges to the surrounding community to ensure strong collaboration and increased opportunities for students in their CTE programming. We are pleased to have her at the helm, and we look forward to supporting her leadership.

Graduate of West Chester University. Teacher in the School District of Philadelphia for 30 years. Finished her career as Educational Technology Teacher at the Penn Alexander School in 2012.
Received The Rose Lindenbaum Improvement of Education Teacher Award in 1999, for outstanding achievement in the instruction of children, dedication to the teaching profession, love and understanding of children, and the improvement of education in the Philadelphia Schools.

Born and raised in the city of Brotherly love and Sisterly affection Philadelphia, PA, graduated from the Roxborough High School Business Academy in 2004. Began collegiate career at Penn State Schuylkill, fall of 2004. Auditioned for the school of Theater and transferred to University Park Spring of 2006. Graduated with her Bachelors in Arts as a Theater major summer of 2008 and then went on to receive her MBA in 2011 from Philadelphia University. Currently the co-owner of Free to Be Performing Arts Center and sole owner of a non-profit youth dance company, En L’ Air Dance Company in Philadelphia. Proud member of the Penn State Alumni Council, Penn State African American Alumni Organization Philadelphia chapter and the Penn State School of Theater Alumni board. Also a very proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, Inc.

Hobbies include Golf, exploring new restaurants, trying new recipes and attending Grand Children’s Activities. (Baseball, Football, Soccer, Dace and Theater)

CEO of two companies (Re-Present Counsultants-helping people rebrand their companies, and Global Partnership Alliance-helping people get funding through investments or sponsorships). Motivational speaker and dedicated to inspiring and helping young people grow.
Born and raised in the Strawberry Mansion section of North Philadelphia. Graduated from Roxborough High School (RHS) in 1994 and briefly continued his education at Temple University. After a year of studying at Temple he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he proudly served the country for 20 years. Tenure on active duty, United States, Germany, Kuwait, and Africa.
In 2018 he completed his bachelor’s degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Diversity and Inequality from Saint Leo University. Indoctrinated into the Alpha Kappa Delta International Sociology Honor’s Society and obtained his MBA from Saint Leo in 2020.
Currently employed as a Budget Financial Manager for the Department of the Navy in Mount Laurel, NJ. Resides in South Jersey with his wife, and three sons.
As a proud alum of RHS, he hopes to lend current students with a multifaceted perspective from lived experiences that will propel them on to continued success.

Retired July 2011 after working 52 years. Interests are family, reading, games, jigsaw puzzles and travel.
My happy place is on the beach at the Jersey shore.

Retired as VP of Business Operations at Photonis Defense, Inc. (formerly RCA) after 41 years of service. Designed and supported products for the US Military
